Decided to blog a bit since I feel like falling asleep from working on a beautiful Sunday. It's just not fair. Why do I have to work on Sundays? Sundays are meant for resting and lazing about. Sighz...guess it's just all a part of being an auditor. Work never stops piling up. Anyway, enough about work, don't wanna talk about it, it's more fun to talk about shopping.

My housemate and I went for shopping at Megabox yesterday. It was kinda far from where we stayed but it was well worth the travel. It's like not often we get to find big shopping malls in HK. Most of the shopping places in HK don't have proper shops and even if they do have shops, it's usually crowded, congested and there's no trying on clothes. But this place is huge and they have like super nice boutiques to shop in. The best part of it all is, there are not many people around. So I get to escape from the HK crowd and get some peace of mind. Being around too many people just get on my nerves sometimes.  Being at the shopping complex made me feel so much at home cos the design and layout is so familiar...for a moment I could pretend that I was back home in Malaysia.  

My main objective of going to Megabox was to buy a handbag cos I saw this really pretty handbag in a magazine and just felt like I had to go and get it. And since my current handbag is kinda worn out, it just felt like the perfect time to go and get a new one. And so we went straight to my targeted shop the instance we got there. And I really super love the shop and of course I feel in love with the bag I planned to buy all over again when I saw the real thing. It's even prettier than in the magazine. And the best part was, I get a 15% discount cos I'm now their VIP member. Really happy about that. I love discounts. After paying for our purchases, we got an even bigger surprise when the salesgirl told us that Megabox is having an ongoing promotion whereby and purchase of HKD200 and above would entitle us to HKD100 redemption voucher. How great was that? So for those who are in HK and don't have anything to do, I would really suggest that you drop by at Megabox for some shopping. You won't regret it.

Actually, don't know what we are going to do with the box...we were just so crazily happy to get free stuff we didn't even think whether it's going to be useful or not? Well...maybe we can do this?
