Life has been so busy lately that I don't have time to blog.
I can't believe that's been a month since I last blogged. It's been work, work and more work every single day from Monday to Sunday. Getting so freaking tired.
The worst part is, my being tired and in a crappy mood has made me an even crazier drama queen. I can't believe these things can happen to me. It goes beyond reason. I'll let you be the judge of it. Here goes...
Drama No 1
I went into the cab (Note: Have been taking cab home quite often nowadays cos there's no MTR after 12 am...and yes, I've been working after 12 am these days), realised that I did not have enough cash to pay the cab driver. Pretended nothing was happening to avoid being dumped by the cab driver by the road side. Reached home, pretended to take out my purse, and pay for the taxi fare. Pretended to be surprised that I didn't have enough money to pay for the fare. Grinned sheepishly at the cab driver and asked him to wait for me to get my money from my apartment. Unfortunately, he wasn't the most patient cab driver and asked me to borrow money from my apartment's security guard. So had no choice but to embarass myself and asked for a HK10 loan from the security guard, paid the cab driver, ran up to my apartment, got some cash, ran down to pay the security guard. I can't believe that the cab driver wasn't kind enough to give me a discount. Come on...I was only short of HK6.
Drama No 2
Was in office until 3 am one day. Had to send up accounts to the typist pool. Found out that our office's security is really good...all lifts are locked after 12am and can only go down to the lobby. So had to use the stairs instead. Placed my accounts at the typist pool, went down the staircase. Found out that I brilliantly used the wrong staircase. And I was locked in the staircase. The stupid stairwell had no panel that I can tag on to get back into my office. Started to panic and ran up and down the stairs to test the doors. All doors firmly locked. Went back down to my own floor. Called my friend and asked her to come and rescue me. (Note: After this incident, I realised the importance of owning a handphone in times of emergencies.
) My friend couldn't find me cos I was not using the main staircase. Asked her to walk around the whole floor to find poor little me who's stuck in the stairwell. Found at last. Phew.
Drama No 3
Related to Drama No 2. Told my friend to look for me if I don't appear in another 5 minutes as I was going up to typist pool again (Note: This incident happened a few days later). My friend told me to bring my handphone. Laughed at her cos I told her it won't happen again but took my handphone as a precaution. Went to the staircase. Realised I didn't have my tag with me and was locked in the staircase again. Called my friend to rescue me. I think the staircase is CURSED!!!
Drama No 4
Related to Drama No 1. Went to client's office in Cyberport. Wanted to go home by cab. Found out I didn't have cash once again. Tried to use some other bank's ATM to withdraw money but failed. Stupid ATM machines. So couldn't take a cab. Tried to take a bus. Couldn't find the bus stop. Walked up and down, in and out...getting restless and worried. Asked unhelpful customer service who pointed me to the wrong place to get a bus. Decided to follow people who seem to be going home. They walked too fast and disappeared into the lift. Took the lift but didn't know how to find the bus stop once getting out of the lift. Saw a friendly security guard officer who asked me where I wanted to go. Told him I was looking for the bus stop. He grinned and said, "Forgotten, where's the bus stop?" and then pointed me to correct direction. So thankful for his help.
I think it's proven, stairs and cabs are against me. Help Me!!!!
